Elizabeth A. (Williams) Lipsett

Elizabeth Ann (Betty) Lipsett of Salem  Mass, passed away in Salem on July 16, 2020. She was 90 years old.  Born in Roxbury, Mass, on June 28, 1930, she was the beloved daughter of the late William and Helen Williams. She was the wife of the late Hazen W. and the sister of Eugene, Helen, and Priscilla. Betty was the proud mother of Helen, William, and Barbara. She was also the aunt of Ann, Eugen, Gordon, Samuel, Lynn, Susan, William, and Priscilla. She is survived by 8 grandchildren; Kerry, Ronald, Shaun, Rebecca, Jessica, Justin, Peter and Nicholas.
       
A lifelong resident of Winthrop, she worked for Winthrop Hospital, Winthrop Savings Bank, and Temple Tiffereth Israel. She enjoyed being a member of The Order of Eastern Star, and The Union Congregational Church. She enjoyed being with family, animals, Scrabble, HGTV, the Hallmark Channel, fall foliage, broccoli, and Happy meals.
 

There will be a private service on Wednesday, July 22. Because of the current covid situation, internment will be held at a future date in the family burial plot in New Hampshire.

It is desired that in lieu of flowers, donations in her memory be sent to the Northeast Animal Shelter in Salem Mass. at neas.org.
