Felix F. Albano

Felix F. Albano, Jr. of Winthrop passed away at the Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center in Boston on September 15, 2023. He was 77 years old. Born in Boston, he was the beloved son of the late Mary E. (Musco) and Felix F. Albano, Sr. A life-long resident of Winthrop, he enlisted in the Navy and served during the Vietnam War. After his honorable discharge he went on to work as an administrator in Nursing Homes. He was also a member of the Knights of Columbus and the Cottage Park Yacht Club.

He was the devoted husband of the late Maureen (Weker) and Letteria M. (Barresi). Loving father of Felix F. Albano, III and his wife Shari of Bedford, New Hampshire and Melissa Dolen and her husband Sean of Winthrop. Dear brother of Bette Conley and her husband Ted of Winthrop and Fr. Vincent Albano of Corpus Christi, Texas. Cherished grandfather of Jordyn, Jake and Sean, Jr.

Family and friends are cordially invited to attend the visitation from the funeral home on Tuesday, September 19, 2023 from 4:00 to 8:00 PM. The funeral will be conducted from the funeral home on Wednesday, September 20, 2023 at 11:30 AM followed by a funeral mass in St. John the Evangelist Church 320 Winthrop St., Winthrop at 12:30 PM. Services will conclude with the interment in the Cross Street section of Winthrop Cemetery.
