Frances B. Milito (Chubby), beloved mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, passed away peacefully at the Kaplan Family Hospice House on March 25th, 2024, surrounded by loved ones. Born on October 12, 1936, in East Boston, she was the daughter of the late Samuel and Gertrude (Rose) Sylvester. Wife of the late Salvatore J Milito. Sister of the late John Sylvester. She graced this world with her presence for 87 years.
Frances leaves behind her daughters Anne Milito and Doreen Bonacorso. Grandchildren Jessica (Jonathan) Heller, Christopher (Amanda) Bonacorso, Frank Bonacorso, Great-granddaughters Lily and Addison Heller, as well as nieces and nephews.
Frances found joy in her work in the retail industry, where she touched the lives of many with her sense of style, and honesty. Her dedication and passion for her profession left a lasting impact on those around her.
But above all, Frances cherished her time spent with loved ones. She found immense happiness in the company of friends, with whom she shared countless cherished memories. Among them, Angela held a special place in her heart, akin to that of a sister.
Frances will be deeply missed by her family, friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing her. Her legacy of love, generosity, and laughter will continue to inspire those whose lives she touched.
May she rest in peace, forever remembered and cherished in our hearts.
Family and friends are cordially invited to attend the visitation from the funeral home on Monday, April 1, 2024 from 9:00 to 11:00 AM followed by a funeral mass in St. John the Evangelist Church 320 Winthrop St., Winthrop at 11:30 AM. Services will conclude with the interment in the Belle Isle section of Winthrop Cemetery.
