JoAnn (Alinkowitz) Long

JoAnn Long of Winthrop and Lake Worth, Florida passed away at the Wellington Regional Medical Center in Florida on February 22, 2021. She was 70 years old. Born in Revere she was the beloved daughter of the late Alice (Ryan) and Joseph Alinkowitz. A long time resident of Winthrop she worked as a registered nurse for the Danvers Public School system.

She was the devoted wife of Frederick G. Long and the loving mother of Frederick G. Long, Jr. of Miami, Florida, Joseph Long and his wife Stephanie of Tampa, Florida and Christopher Long and his wife Jess of Omaha, Nebraska. Dear sister of Alyce Walsh of California. Cherished grandmother of Tianna, Rileigh, Jax and Tanner.

Family and friends are cordially invited to attend the visitation from the funeral home on Tuesday, March 23, 2021 from 4:00 to 8:00 PM. The funeral will be conducted from the funeral home on Wednesday, March 24, 2021 at 9:00 AM followed by a funeral mass in St. John the Evangelist Church 320 Winthrop St., Winthrop at 10:00 AM. Services will conclude with the interment in the Belle Isle section of Winthrop Cemetery.
