John L. Scandone

John L. Scandone of Winthrop and formerly of Dorchester passed away at the Massachusetts General Hospital on January 15, 2023. He was 57 years old. Born in Winthrop he was the beloved son of the late Lucille (Fitchner) and Alphonse Scandone. Prior to his passing he was the proprietor of Always Open Towing in Boston. He was also a member of the Massachusetts Towing Association, the Mystic Valley Gun Club, Massachusetts Police Association and the Boston Gun Club.

He was the loving father of Brittany Reposa of Medford and the dear brother of Lawrence Scandone of Winthrop, Robert Scandone of Winthrop and the late Linda Scandone. Cherished uncle of Nicholas and Gina Scandone.

Family and friends are cordially invited to attend the visitation from the funeral home on Sunday, January 22, 2023 from 1:00 to 5:00 PM. A funeral service will be held in the funeral home at 4:30 PM. Interment will be private.
