Jose A. Echevarria

Jose A. Echevarria of East Boston passed away at the Brigham and Women's Faulkner Hospital in Boston on December 19, 2021 at 47 years of age. He was born in Boston and grew up in the South End. He worked at the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute in the Department of Pediatric Oncology as a Research Support Specialist for 19 years.

Devoted husband of Liza and loving stepfather of Nicholas & Ryder.
Son of Margarita (Ortiz) and the late Pedro Echevarria; dear brother of Diana Shea and her husband Mark, Myrna Echevarria, and Pedro Echevarria. Beloved uncle of Daniel, Emmari, Alex, Jason, and Jerry and dear Brother in law of Mark, Susana, Greg and Josephine.

Family and friends are cordially invited to attend the visitation from the funeral home on Monday, December 27, 2021 from 4:00 to 8:00 PM. A funeral service will be held in the funeral home on Tuesday, December 28, 2021 at 10:00 AM. Services will conclude with the interment in the Oak Lawn Cemetery in Roslindale.
