Obituary
Joseph A. Macchiavelli, Sr. of Winthrop passed away at the High Point House in Haverhill on June 2, 2023. He was 81 years old. Born in Messina, Sicily, Italy he was the beloved son of the late Lina (Foti) and Arturo Macchiavelli. He came to this country at an early age residing in East Boston before moving to Winthrop over 54 years ago. Prior to his retirement he worked as a hairstylist in Revere for many years where he was also the proprietor.
He was the devoted husband of Stella (Micciche) and the loving father of Anthony Macchiavelli of Rowley and the late Joseph A. Macchiavelli, Jr. He was the dear brother of Nick Macchiavelli and his wife Josephine and their daughter Lina of East Boston. Cherished grandfather of Chloe, Anthony and Patrick.
Family and friends are cordially invited to attend the visitation from the funeral home on Sunday, June 11, 2023 from 4:00 to 8:00 PM. A funeral service will be held in the funeral home on Sunday at 7:30 PM.
