Joseph Colvario Jr.

Joseph Colvario Jr. passed away at the Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston on January 31, 2021. He was 76 years old. Born in Boston he was the beloved son of the late Madeline (Carcerano) and Joseph Colvario Sr. He grew up in the North End of Boston before moving to Winthrop over 55 years ago. Prior to his retirement he worked as a heavy equipment operator for many years. 

He was the devoted husband of Jean (Guerriero) and the loving father of Michele Bickford and her husband Mark Sr. of New Hampshire, Jennifer Hurley and her husband James of New Hampshire and Jessica Colvario and her boyfriend Paul Walsh of Malden. Dear brother of Maria Minchella of Beverly and the late Thomas, Stephen, Anthony and John Colvario. Cherished grandfather of Mark Jr., Madisyn, Cameron, Joey and Ricky.

Family and friends are cordially invited to attend the visitation from the funeral home on Sunday, February 7, 2021 from 1:00 to 4:00 PM. A funeral service will be held in the funeral home immediately following the visitation at 4:00 PM.
