Joseph A. Giannotti

Joseph A. Giannotti of Winthrop Shore Drive, Winthrop passed away at the Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston on March 18, 2018. He was 66 years old. Born in Woburn he was the beloved son of the late Angelina (Arpino) and Nicholas Giannotti. A resident of Winthrop since 1974 he was employed as a foreman for Boston Transfer and Buckley Systems, manufacturing electrical products prior to his retirement. He was also a member of the Beachmont VFW.

He was the devoted husband of Susan M. (Torci) and the loving father of Rachel Giannotti McCarthy and her husband Andrew J. of Lynn and Joseph A. Giannotti, Jr. of Fraser, Colorado. He was the dear brother of Alice Faulkner of Somerville and the late Nicholas R. Giannotti, II and Pauline Giannotti-Hennelly. Cherished grandfather of Samuel.

Family and friends are cordially invited to attend the visitation in the St. John the Evangelist Church 320 Winthrop St., Winthrop on Thursday, March 22, 2018 from 9:00 to 11:00 AM. A funeral mass will be held in the church immediately following the visitation at 11:30 AM. Committal will be private.
