Joseph A. Macchiavelli

Joseph A. Macchiavelli, Jr. of Winthrop passed away unexpectedly on March 14, 2021. He was 54 years old. Born in Boston he was the beloved son of Stella (Micciche) and Joseph A. Macchiavelli, Sr. A lifelong resident of Winthrop he attended St. John the Evangelist Parochial School and went on to graduate from Winthrop High School in 1984. At the time of his passing, he worked as a mail handler at the South Postal Annex for over 30 years. He started playing the guitar at an early age and became an accomplished musician playing in several local bands.

He was the dear brother of Anthony Macchiavelli of Rowley and the loving uncle of Chloe, Anthony and Patrick.

Family and friends are cordially invited to attend the visitation on Sunday, March 21, 2021 from 4:00 to 8:00 PM. A funeral service will be held in the funeral home following the visitation at 8:00 PM. Committal will be private.
