Krista M. Chandler

Krista M. Chandler of Swampscott, MA earned her well-deserved angel wings on Tuesday, March 12, 2024 at Salem Hospital after a long illness.

Family was paramount to Krista. She was the beloved daughter of Marianne Chandler of Swampscott, MA and the late Paul Chandler. She is also survived by her much-loved aunts and uncles, John and Kathy Page of Winthrop, MA; Paul Page and his partner Kathy Housewart of Sarasota, FL; Maureen (Page) and Joe Preble of Hampstead, NH; Chuck and Lisa Page of Swampscott, MA; Janet (Chandler) & John (Mac) MacKenzie of Randolph, MA and the late David Chandler. Krista will also be lovingly remembered by her many cousins and great cousins whom she cherished with all her heart.

A fighter to the end, Krista endured many chronic and challenging health issues. She approached her diseases with a fierceness and determination to overcome whatever obstacles lay in her path. She was blessed to have a team of amazing medical professionals who helped her to navigate the path.

Her warm smile and sense of humor made her a joy to be around. She was loved more than she realized.

Her illnesses may have made things challenging but it did not stop her from enjoying her annual subscription to North Shore Music Theatre and looking forward to time with her family.

Family and friends are cordially invited to attend the visitation from the funeral home on Friday, March 15, 2024 from 4:00 to 7:00 PM. The funeral will be conducted from the funeral home on Saturday, March 16, 2024 at 10:30 AM followed by a funeral mass in St. John the Evangelist Church 320 Winthrop St., Winthrop at 11:30 AM. Committal will be private.
