Kristen E. (Alexanian) Messias

Kristen E. Messias (Alexanian) of Winthrop, MA passed away on March 17, 2022, she was 50 years old. Born in Boston, MA she was the beloved daughter of the late Alex Alexanian and Sandy Alexanian of Winthrop, MA.

She was the loving mother of Kimberley and Fernando Messias Jr. of Quincy, MA.  Dear sister of Michael Alexanian of Hingham, MA and loving aunt to Lindsey, Megan & Hannah Alexanian of Kingston, MA. Dear cousin to Steven & Kenneth Smith of Charleston, WV. and Chris Sullivan of Kanata, ON Canada.

A lifelong Winthrop resident, Kristen used to work in the restaurant industry for many years at establishments like Assaggio in the North End and The Union Oyster House in Faneuil Hall prior to staying home to take care of her children.  She was widely known for her generosity when she went out to eat. “They work hard for their money” was something she would might frequently say after leaving what one would consider a very generous tip..

Family and friends are cordially invited to attend the visitation at the funeral home on Wednesday, March 30, 2022, from 5:00 to 7:00 PM.
