Leona P. Messina

Leona P. Messina of East Boston passed away at the Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston on February 27, 2024. She was 54 years old. Born in Boston, she was the beloved daughter of the late Patricia (Casey) and Phil Messina. A life-long resident of East Boston, she worked as an administrative assistant for the court system.

She was the dear sister of Joe Messina of Rowley, Kenny Messina of Winthrop and the late Jimmy Messina. Leona is also lovingly remembered by her Aunts, Uncle, Nieces, Nephews and Cousins.

Leona was an organ donor who continues to inspire by giving the gift of life and healing, providing hope to those in need.

Family and friends are cordially invited to attend the visitation from the funeral home on Tuesday, March 19, 2024 from 1:00 to 3:00 PM.
