Linda A. (Pennell) McCoy

Linda A. McCoy of Winthrop and formerly of Melrose passed away at the Tufts Medical Center in Boston on May 2, 2022. She was 79 years old. Born in Winthrop she was the beloved daughter of the late Mary (Wickson) and Clayton V. Pennell. 

She was the devoted wife of the late Thomas P. McCoy and the loving mother of Sean McCoy of Middleboro, Craig McCoy and his wife Donna of Auburn, New Hampshire and the late Scott McCoy. Dear sister of Diane Pennell of Winthrop and the late John and Carol Pennell. Cherished grandmother of Scott, Blake, Emily, Katelyn, Brendan, Matthew, Andrew and Courtney. Great grandmother of Aimsley, Harper and Mason.

Family and friends are cordially invited to attend the visitation from the funeral home on Monday, May 9, 2022 from 9:00 to 11:00 AM followed by a funeral mass in St. John the Evangelist Church 320 Winthrop St., Winthrop at 11:30 AM. Committal will be private.
