Obituary
Marcia A. Donahue of Saugus, formerly of East Boston passed away at the Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston on November 18, 2022. She was 73 years old. Born in Boston she was the beloved daughter of the late Albina (Montanari) and Bernard Ortolan. A resident of Saugus for over 42 years, she was also a member of the Son's of Italy and The Friendship Club in Lynn.
She was the devoted wife of Daniel Donahue, Jr. and the loving mother of Daniel Donahue, III and his wife Elizabeth of Wakefield and Lauren DeFranzo of Saugus. Dear sister of the late Louis Ortolan, Bernard Ortolan and Paula Ortolan. Cherished grandmother of Jake, Nick and Daniel.
Family and friends are cordially invited to attend the visitation from the funeral home on Tuesday, November 22, 2022 from 4:00 to 8:00 PM. The funeral will be conducted from the funeral home on Wednesday, November 23, 2022 at 9:00 AM followed by a funeral mass in the Blessed Sacrament Church 14 Summer St., Saugus at 10:30 AM. Services will conclude with the interment in the Holy Cross Cemetery, Malden.
