Obituary
Marguerite R. Carresi of Peabody and formerly of Winthrop passed away at Pilgrim Rehabilitation in Peabody on August 19, 2022. She was 96 years old. Born in East Boston she was the beloved daughter of the late Mary and Anthony Miraglia.
Devoted wife of the late Joseph J. Carresi. Loving mother of John Carresi and his wife Tina of Peabody and the cherished grandmother of Joseph, Andrea, John and Derek. Great grandmother of Gianna. She was the last of sixteen brothers and sisters.
Family and friends are cordially invited to attend the visitation from the funeral home on Friday, August 26, 2022 from 8:30 to 9:30 AM followed by a funeral mass in St. John the Evangelist Church 320 Winthrop St., Winthrop at 10:00 AM. Services will conclude with the interment in the Cross Street section of Winthrop Cemetery.
