Mary Ann Moriarty of Winthrop passed away at the Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston on May 1, 2022. She was 92 years old. Born in Winthrop she was the beloved daughter of the late Agnes (Marion) and Charles Briggs. A life-long resident of Winthrop She worked as an agent for Delta Airlines for many years.
She was the devoted wife of the late John R. Moriarty and the loving mother of Cathlene Pellicelli and the late John R. Moriarty, Jr. Dear sister of Robert Briggs, Laura Keene and Charles Briggs. Loving sister in law of Alice Hayes, Margaret Briggs and Garrett Keene. Cherished grandmother of Colleen, William, Patrick, John and Amanda.
A graveside service was held in the Cross Street section of Winthrop Cemetery on Monday, May 16, 2022.
