Mary T. (Genovese) Tarsi

Mary T. Tarsi of Winthrop passed away at the Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston on April 16, 2022. She was 76 years old. Born in Atlantic City, New Jersey she was the beloved daughter of the late Blanche (Brozowski) and Philip Genovese. A life-long resident of Winthrop she worked as a customer service representative for Wallace Silversmith in East Boston prior to her retirement.

She was wife of Peter J. Tarsi, Sr. and the loving mother of Peter J. Tarsi, Jr. of Seekonk, Paula Gifford and her husband Jamie of Winthrop and Philip Tarsi and his wife Rebecca of Myrtle Beach. Dear sister of Robert Genovese and his wife Sharon of Saugus and sister in law of Adele Keohane and Michael Tarsi. Cherished grandmother of Tyler, Calliope, Philip John, Meredith, Marina and Anthony. Also survived by many family, friends, nieces and nephews.

Family and friends are cordially invited to attend the visitation from the funeral home on Wednesday, April 20, 2022 from 4:00 to 8:00 PM. A funeral service will be held in the funeral home at 7:30 PM the same evening. Committal will be private.
