Patricia A. (Cosgrove) Squeglia

Patricia A. Squeglia of Mashpee passed away at the Bear Mountain at Reading on September 11, 2023. She was 87 years old. Born in Dorchester, she was the beloved daughter of the late Elinor and Francis Cosgrove. Prior to her retirement she was an elementary school teacher for many years. She was also a member of the Bayberry Quilting Club and the Mashpee Gardening Club.

She was the devoted wife of the late Peter R. Squeglia, Sr. and the loving mother of Peter R. Squeglia, Jr. and his wife Erin of Reading, Paul Squeglia and his wife Jennifer of Naples, Florida and William Squeglia and his wife Rosemarie of Reading. Dear sister of Donna Morrissey of Newton and Shelia Cosgrove of Rosas, Spain. Cherished grandmother of Peter III, Brynn, Mae, Liam and Charles.

Family and friends are cordially invited to attend the visitation from the funeral home on Wednesday, September 13, 2023 from 5:00 to 8:00 PM. The funeral will be conducted from the funeral home on Thursday, September 14, 2023 at 9:00 AM followed by a funeral mass in St. John the Evangelist Church 320 Winthrop St., Winthrop at 10:00 AM. Services will conclude with the interment in the Cross Street section of Winthrop Cemetery.
