Paul C. Joltki of Winthrop passed away at home on December 18, 2021. He was 82 years old. Born in Boston he was the beloved son of the late Apollonia (Pohorecka) and Steven Joltki. A resident of Winthrop for over a year he previously lived in the Old West End of Boston and Malden. Prior to his retirement he worked as a welder for General Electric in Lynn. He was an avid reader and WWII buff. He also loved to tell stories of growing up in the Old West End and loved sharing his stories of traveling to Europe. He was a driver for the American Cancer Society where he took patients to their treatments and also managed the Food Pantry at St Peter’s Church in Malden. He was a long-time neighbor host for the St. Rocco’s Feast in Malden. He was a former board member for the West End Museum and a member of the Malden Elks.
He was the devoted husband of the late Virginia V. (Kobylarz) and the loving father of Michael Joltki and his wife Darlene of Winthrop, Michelle Scorzella and her husband Marc of Winthrop and the late Susan Joltki. Dear brother of Steven Joltki and his wife Carol of Winthrop and the late Olga Kasinowicz and her husband Charles and Mishel Joltki. Cherished Papa of Andrew, Ashley, Emily, Grace and Olivia. Great grandfather of Paul Joseph, Angelo, Paisley, Gunner, Jaxson and Taylor-May. Also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
Family and friends are cordially invited to attend the visitation from the funeral home on Wednesday, December 22, 2021 from 9:00 to 11:00 AM followed by a funeral mass in St. John the Evangelist Church 320 Winthrop St., Winthrop at 11:30 AM. Committal will be private.
