Peter J. Pellegriti

Peter J. Pellegriti of Winthrop passed away at home on May 7, 2023. He was 77 years old. Born in Winthrop he was the beloved son of the late Nora (Caressi) and A. Thomas Pellegriti. A life-long resident of Winthrop, he was an elementary school teacher for the City of Chelsea for many years. He was a member of the Revere Lodge of Elks and the Winthrop Son's of Italy. He was also the past president of Winthrop Little League and ran the concessions for many years at the Little League Field, Larsen Rink and Miller Field.

He was the loving father of Julie Ann Grieco of Peabody, A. Thomas Pellegriti and his wife JoAnn of Stoneham and the late Timothy J. Pellegriti. Dear brother of Rosemary Ferreira of Texas and Thomas A. Pellegriti of Florida. Cherished grandfather of Kassandra, Capri, Astro, Cairo, Caira, Tanya and Peter. Beloved companion of Carol Silverman.

Family and friends are cordially invited to attend the visitation from the funeral home on Friday, May 12, 2023 from 4:00 to 8:00 PM. A funeral service will be held in the funeral home on Saturday, May 13, 2023 at 10:00 AM. Services will conclude with the interment in the Woodlawn Cemetery in Everett.
