Robert W. Clancy

Robert W. Clancy of Barnstable and formerly of Gloucester, Hull and Winthrop passed away at home on May 21, 2021. He was 92 years old. Born in Winthrop he was the beloved son of the late Doris (Nichols) and John P. Clancy. He graduated from Tabor Academy and went on to graduate from Catholic University. Prior to his retirement he worked as a sales representative selling building products for many years. He had a life long love of sailing and was a former member of the Boston Yacht Club, the Corinthian Yacht Club, the Cottage Park Yacht Club, the Hyannis Yacht Club, Eastern Point Yacht Club and the Hull Yacht Club. He loved to see people having fun and would often say "Isn't it nice we are all together, it's togetherness that counts!"

He was the loving father of Laura Drigo and her husband Gary of Parkland, Florida, Richard Clancy of Winthrop and the late Robert W. Clancy, Jr. Dear brother of the late John P. Clancy, Jr. Cherished grandfather of Imogen, Iris and MacKenzie. Loving companion of Suzanne McHutchison.

Services and interment are private.
