Thomas A. Haddad

Thomas A. Haddad of Winthrop passed away on February 28, 2023. He was 79 years old. Born in Boston he was the beloved son of the late Mary (Tavares) and Paul Haddad. A resident of Winthrop for over 24 years, he previously lived in Revere. He enlisted in the United States Marine Corps. during the Vietnam War reaching the rank of Lance Corporal. After his honorable discharge he went on to work as salesman in the automotive industry for many years. He was also a member of the Appian Way Bowling League.

He was the devoted husband of Claire (Paiva) and the loving father of Cheryl Haddad of Stoughton, Paul Haddad of Stoughton, Nicholas Ballarelli of Florida and the late Mary Davis. Loving stepfather of Leigh-Anne Strangie and her husband Richard of Winthrop. Dear brother of Joseph Haddad of New Hampshire. Cherished grandfather of Victoria, John, Hannah, Emily, Anthony, Isabella, Taylor, Stephanie, Christopher and the late Richard, Jr.

Family and friends are cordially invited to attend the visitation from the funeral home on Monday, March 6, 2023 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM followed by a funeral service in the funeral home at 12:00 PM. Services will conclude with military honors in the Belle Isle section of Winthrop Cemetery.
