Obituary
Vasil Thomaj of Winthrop passed away at home on July 9, 2023. He was 73 years old. Born in Albania, he was the beloved son of the late Vasilie (Allkanjari) and Ndoni Thomaj.
He was the devoted husband of Donika (Gjini) and the loving father of Odise Thomai and his wife Jola of Winthrop and Alfons Thomaj of Winthrop. Dear brother of the late Themie Thomaj. Cherished grandfather of Antonio Thomaj, Vanesa Thomai, Sara Thomaj, Daniel Thomai and Era Thomai.
Family and friends are cordially invited to attend the visitation from the funeral home on Wednesday, July 12, 2023 from 4:00 to 8:00 PM. The funeral will be conducted from the funeral home on Thursday, July 13, 2023 at 10:00 AM and will proceed in procession at 11:00 AM to the Belle Isle section of Winthrop Cemetery.
