Virginia V. Joltki of Winthrop passed away at home on November 26, 2021. She was 82 years old. Born in Boston she was the beloved daughter of the late Victoria Tomczyk and Michael Kobylarz. A resident of Winthrop for over a year she previously lived in the Old West End and Malden. Prior to her retirement she worked as a telephone operator for New England Telephone. She was a member of the Telephone Pioneers, the Malden Emblem Club, various bowling leagues and St. Peter's Food Pantry.
She was the devoted wife of Paul C. Joltki and the loving mother of Michael Joltki and his wife Darlene of Winthrop, Michelle Scorzella and her husband Marc of Winthrop and the late Susan Joltki. Dear sister of the late Stella Moroz, Joseph Tomczyk, Walter Tomczyk, Laura Caccia, William Tomczyk, Alexander Tomczyk and Joseph Colby. Cherished grandmother/Babchi of Andrew, Ashley, Emily, Grace and Olivia. Great grandmother of Paul Joseph, Angelo, Paisley, Gunner, Jaxson and Taylor-May. Also survived by many loving nieces and nephews. Beloved friend and Babchi to many.
Family and friends are cordially invited to attend the visitation from the funeral home on Tuesday, November 30, 2021 from 9:00 to 11:00 AM followed by a funeral mass in St. John the Evangelist Church 320 Winthrop St., Winthrop at 11:30 AM. Committal will be private.
