I had the pleasure and joy of working closely with Barry Kaplovitz in 1978 for Ed King as he upset Mike Dukakis to become governor of Massachusetts. Barry was brilliant, witty, and oh so young. What a shock to learn of his passing. I can only hope that he will make me laugh in heaven as he did on Earth

Anytime I ever bumped into Barry or his mother in the neighborhood my day was always a little better.
They both were great supporters of the Winthrop Fire Departmernt.

Dear Susan,
It was with shock that I learned of Barry's passing in 2016. I loved him and treasured our work together for Ed King in the governor races of 1978 and 1982. I hated that we lost touch, even more so now that he is gone. You were so fortunate to have him full time for so long. Love, Dick Morris
