Dear Fran, Maria, Johnny, Debra, and Joseph It's been decades since we grew up together, but I wanted to express my sincere condolences on your mother's passing. I remember as a child how warm, caring, and inviting she was when we all lived on Howell St. I hold many dear memories and laugh at the crazy antics we got ourselves into. My father passed away in 1989 and my mother passed in 1992. I know first hand how empty, sorrowful, and powerless you feel. Time does heal, but nothing replaces a mother's love. May Josie share in God's unending love and may you all take comfort that you can celebrate her life knowing what a wonderful woman she was!

Life is a precious gift and often taken for granted, but it means so much more when someone like you is in it. No words can describe the love I have for you and how much love you shared with everyone around you. You always had the right thing to say and words of wisdom nobody can deny, no matter how bad times may have been you always shared your strength and warmth and just hearing your voice was assurance everything will be ok. You are one of my hero's, a daily reminder of how a woman should be. You have done so much for everyone around you always knew how to make everyone smile. You are truly loved even to the end your strength was unbelievable and I am so glad I could show how much you mean to me. I hope you are at peace and never forget any of us as we will never forget you. Only half of your wish came true I wish I could have given the other half to you, but life had other plans. We never know what the future holds but one thing remains...all our laughs, lessons, and memories and how much I love you! I'm sure your light will shine down on all of us, and we will feel your powerful love like always.

Mom: I am at a loss for words. I just cannot accept that I will never be able to call you, see you, hang out with you and most of all hold you any more. When someone realizes that her mom is her best friend its like losing 2 people that you love at the same time. I am really having a difficult time trying to understand how this all happened in one week. Last week we were shopping for wedding clothes for sean and nanci's wedding and this week I was returning them for funeral clothes.. I know I will thank god every day that I got to spend your last week with you at our home. I will miss our Thursday night sleep overs and how we chatted for half the night . It was like our little pajama party. I will miss doing water aerobics with you in our pool I know how much you always said it made you feel so good. Thank you for a wonderful life full of love and devotion. The love you and dad gave to all of us made us a close loving and spiritual family. Your faith was so strong and im glad you passed that on to us. You were the best mother any daughter could have asked for and I will never ever forget you. Even in your obituary you are still so beautiful .God bless you dear mother and may you rest in peace. Your loving daughter Maria xoxo

Joe (Papa),

I was so saddened when Jillian told me that your lovely bride had passed away. Josie (Noni) was one in a million. She (and you) have always treated me and my daughter and my husband like family, and I will never forget that. I ask God to look down on you and your children and give you all the strength you will need to get through an extremely difficult time. My heartfelt sympathy, prayers and love are with you all, along with a BIG hug to you Papa.

RIP Noni. Fly high with the Angels. I hope that my little Goliath finds you and keeps you company.

With Deepest Condolences,
Patty Lamarre

Your light... it shined on every single person you encountered... made all dark paths easier to navigate and brought warmth to the hearts of all around you. Your love was the truest love I have ever known. It never wavered, it was a constant source of strength and devotion and you always made damn sure that you were vocal about it because you loved freely and truly. You were truly the woman of the house. You always treated me like "company" even when I lived right upstairs. Your knowledge and experience and stories of a lifetime filled with laughs was such a gift to be able to learn so much about. The love that you and Papa shared was unlike anything I had ever witnessed before in my life. He was your guy and you were his lady and through all of your lives the good, the bad and the ugly, you were completely devoted to one another right, wrong or indifferent, for better or for worse, in good times and bad. Your marriage literally defined what every wedding vow should be but you did more than speak the words... you loved the promise. Your commitment to the happiness and well being of your family was so special. Even in times when you were in need you always were concerned about every one else around you and always put yourself last. Your lifetime commitment to god was an inspiration to all, even those who didn't believe like you. I have learned to pray to Saint Jude because you taught me the importance of his gift to watch over all of the lost souls out there that need a little extra TLC. There is not a day that has gone by that you an papa weren't on my mind and that will continue. You left a permanent imprint on my life and in my heart and every single day I will continue to strive towards being more like you. Towards being a little less selfish, a little more concerned with my family and friends and most of all to just love wholeheartedly because you never know when you might get the chance to say I love you just one more time. I wish I had that chance to just tell you in person what you meant to me and how much you influenced and changed my life in so many ways. I carry you with me always noni, every time the sun shines warmth upon my day I know it will be you smiling down upon my world. I can't even say the words noni and papa still today without fenway getting all excited, he as much as I just adored you and papa so much. So from him to you my dear there are some very stinky kisses floating on up to heaven right now.

With all my love, all my heart and all my soul.

-"Family isn't always blood, it is the people in your life who want you in theirs, The ones who accept you for who you are, The ones who would do anything to see you smile and who love you no matter what"

You are my family. Always.

Shine bright sweet angel.

Love Jillian

Joe, Fran, Maria, Johnny, Debra and Joseph ~ As you already know, Richard and I are so very sorry for your loss of your beloved wife and mother. We were all blessed to have Josie in our lives. We will remember her "Lucy" antics and her all too generous ways. She was loving, spiritual, caring and funny. I know her and my mom are having their laughs up in Heaven. Richard and I are very grateful to have seen her before she went to be with our Lord. And, as I promised her before she got ill, we will always remain close and I am proud to call you all "my family". Johnny, you are the brother that I do not have and I will always, always be here for you, your mother made me promise that to her. Most of all both Richard and I will always be here for all of you.

With the utmost Sincerest of Sympathies and Love, Mariann and Richard
