Richard B. Ivaldi, Jr. of Marblehead and formerly of Winthrop passed away suddenly at home on June 28, 2016. He was 45 years old. Born in Boston, he was the beloved son of Suzanne Pires and the late Richard B. Ivaldi, Sr.. A longtime resident of Winthrop, he worked as a laborer in construction for many years.

He was the dear brother of Elena Crowley and her husband Stephen of Weymouth, Nicole Ivaldi of East Boston, Vanessa Recca of Marblehead, John Recca of Winthrop and the late Michael Ivaldi. He was the cherished grandson of Sara and the late Charles Ivaldi. Also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Family and friends are cordially invited to attend the visitation from the funeral home on Wednesday, July 6, 2016 from 6:00 to 8:00 PM. The funeral will be conducted from the funeral home on Thursday, July 7, 2016 at 10:30 AM followed by a funeral mass in St. John the Evangelist Church 320 Winthrop St., Winthrop at 11:30 AM. Interment to follow the mass in the Belle Isle section of Winthrop Cemetery.
