Rosemarie Russo of  Winthrop passed away on May 18, 2016. Beloved wife of 62 years of the late Honorable Domenic J. F. Russo. Devoted mother of Joseph V. Russo and his wife Jaye of Billerica, Lynda M. Kelleher and her husband Robert of Stoneham, Julie A. Kelly and her husband Dennis of Duxbury, Mark X. Russo and his wife Elizabeth of Wakefield and David P. Russo and his wife Vicki of Winthrop and Lois MacDonald of Winthrop. Loving nanny of Alana J. and Domenic J.F. Russo II, Lauren M. Scola and her husband Joseph M., Susan M. Holden and her husband Jacob S., Michael L., Christina L. and Shannon E. Kelly, Matthew J. and Kevin J. Russo, Kayla M., Kelly M. and Jonathan D. Russo. Great grandmother of Declan J. Holden and baby girl Scola. Daughter of the late Peter and Rosina (Melluso) Maiolino and sister of Ann Faro and her husband Angelo of Groveland, Maryjane Giorgio and her husband Lawrence of AZ and the late Anthony, Joseph, Vincent and Josephine Maiolino and Lucy Conte. Also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Family and friends are cordially invited to attend the visitation from the funeral home on Monday, May 23, 2016 from 4:00 to 8:00 PM. The funeral will be conducted from the funeral home on Tuesday, May 24, 2016 at 10:30 AM followed by a funeral mass in the St. John the Evangelist Church 320 Winthrop St., Winthrop at 11:30 AM. Interment will be private.
