Mr. Mullane... am so sorry for his family's loss. Sometimes when a loved one dies, it can seem as if time stops. Seven years is a drop in the proverbial bucket of eternity.

He always seemed like a good guy, and a good teacher. All these years later (Emerson alum 1980 here) he's one that stands out (in a good way).

Many years ago ,I had the pleasure of working with Sean at both the Ballard School and the Emerson School, as a Reading teacher. I would sometimes meet him at some of the meeting, and we could catch up with each other. A wonderful person, my sympathy to his family.. Jean Sidilou

John, I'm sorry to hear about the passing of you Dad. I loved babysitting for your little sister and hanging with you at school. I remember having nice conversations with your Dad (and Mom). Please extend my sympathy to your mom and sister as well.

I want to express my sincere sympathy to the Mullane family. Having worked with Sean at the Belmonte Middle school, I had the opportunity to see a master teacher at work. Sean always made learning enjoyable for his students. His knowledge and wit came through in his teaching. In addition, I also had the opportunity to drive Sean to school on several occasions and Sean made that ride from Winthrop to Saugus "fun". His dry sense of humor was always present. A great man! Rest in peace, my friend.

Danny and Mullane family...the families go back many years in Winthrop and CPYC. The small world that it is, my brother, sister, and I had the pleasure of having Sean (or back them Mr. Mullane) as our sixth grade teacher...I remember the current event quizzes like they were yesterday.

My thoughts and prayers to the entire family.

I worked with Sean at the Emerson School in Saugus. He was the sixth grade teacher and I was the fifth. We had a great time taking the kids to Outdoor Education camp on the Cape. Thinking of you at this time of your loss,

I am very sorry to hear about Sean's passing. I worked with him yrs ago at the Saugus Middle School. He was a great guy with a very quick wit. I remember when Rich Salerno , Sean and myself ran in the St. Patrick's Day race in Malden one year. I'll always remember his great sense of humor, quick come-backs, sports knowledge, and how he was just a great person to be around!
